Maybe you’re asking, Is there a case or evidence for a God?? Do you have doubts about faith? How do our planet, the stars and humanity fit together? Does my life have significance?

Let’s explore together. If possible, email Pastor Dolores [szydol@bethel.edu] in advance with your questions, so she’ll know your interest.

Also at our May meeting, we’ll talk about a project we can do as our church looks to the future.

CHILDREN’S DAY, May 16, 10 a.m. Worship planned and led by the children and youth of our Sunday School program. Join us for what promises to be a most inspiring worship service.

Pentecost Sunday, May 23, is CONFIRMATION AND COMMUNION SUNDAY. On this day, the members of our Confirmation Study Group will give public assent to the baptismal promises made by their parents and / or sponsors. A reception in their honor will follow the worship service.

HAMPSHIRE ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING, May 23, 2 p.m., hosted by The Falls Congregation Church.

BIBLE STUDY. Beginning Tuesday, June 1, 10:30 a.m. Gathering at the South Hadley Public Library Meeting Room. PRACTICAL GEMS OF JAMES: As a good communicator, James addressed his readers directly and pointedly, with vivid images from ordinary life. What can we learn from James’ concern for practical Christianity? A study for youth and older, men and women. Through the church office, or email, please let Pastor Dolores know in advance of your interest. If this time and date aren't convenient for you, suggest a time you would like to meet. Pastor will consider all requests.

CRAFTER’S CORNER
Reaching out and helping others through the handiwork of many. Join this group of busy hands and fun fellowship as they prepare for the Share the Warmth Tree 2010. Crafter’s Corner benefits the Plains and Mosier Schools, South Hadley, Jesse’s House, the Salvation Army, and Baystate Children’s Hospital with an astonishing array of mitten sets, hat and scarf sets, scarves, hats, slippers, baby quilts, sweaters, afghans, etc., from preemie to adult size. You don’t have to be a member to be involved in this generous group. Meets: first and third Thursdays of each month, 9 to 11 a.m.
